The TCA Pressure Oil Filter is a high‑efficiency oil purification equipment specially designed for continuous frying lines, widely used in the production of potato chips, french fries, nuts, puffed snacks and prepared foods. The equipment operates on the closed‑pressure filtration principle. A pre‑coat layer (using filter aids such as diatomaceous earth or perlite) is formed on the filter screen, and the pressure difference traps fine particles, carbonized residues, free fatty acids and other impurities in the filter cake, producing crystal‑clear, purified frying oil. This effectively extends the service life of the frying oil and improves the color and taste of the finished products.
All oil‑contact parts are made of food‑grade SUS304 stainless steel, equipped with high‑temperature resistant seals and pressure safety devices. The machine is easy to operate with high filtration efficiency, and can be configured with manual or automatic back‑washing and automatic discharge functions as required. Working Principle
The TCA Pressure Oil Filter operates with a closed filter vessel structure. Before filtration, a mixture containing filter aid (diatomaceous earth, perlite, etc.) is circulated by a pump into the filter vessel to form a uniform pre‑coat layer on the filter screen. The pre‑coat protects the screen from clogging by fine particles and provides a stable filtration rating.
Hot frying oil from the fryer is pressurized by a circulation pump and enters the filter vessel. The oil passes through the screen and the pre‑coat layer, while solid impurities (frying debris, carbonized residues, flocs, etc.) are trapped on the surface of the pre‑coat. As filtration proceeds, the filter cake thickens, and the filtered oil continuously flows out through the discharge pipe and returns to the fryer or oil storage tank.
When the filter cake reaches a certain thickness and the pressure rises to a preset value, the machine stops filtration and performs discharge or back‑washing operations (depending on the configuration). Some models are equipped with automatic vibrating discharge or pneumatic discharge devices to quickly remove the filter cake from the screen surface, completing one filtration cycle. The entire filtration process is carried out within a closed vessel, with no oil vapor leakage, ensuring safety and environmental protection.
