The TCA Screw Lifting Four-Position Raising System is an integrated electromechanical lifting device specially designed for continuous frying lines. It is mainly used for raising the hood and the frying section frame of the XDL series medium frying lines and the XDXL series large frying lines. The system adopts the self-locking screw transmission principle. An electric motor drives the lifting screws to rotate, smoothly raising or lowering the hood or the frying section along precision guide rails, providing ample working space for daily cleaning, filter screen replacement, internal inspection and slag removal maintenance. The system supports two working modes: “hood-only lifting” and “simultaneous lifting of the hood and the frying section”. Four-position (four screw sets) synchronous drive ensures a stable, non-offset and jam‑free lifting process. All parts that contact oil or food are made of food‑grade SUS304 stainless steel and high‑temperature resistant sealing materials, complying with food hygiene standards. The TCA Screw Lifting Four-Position Raising System is a core functional component for achieving automated cleaning maintenance and extending the service life of the frying line.
Working Principle
The TCA Screw Lifting Four-Position Raising System operates on the principle of screw‑nut helical transmission combined with motor drive. Each system consists of four independent lifting units located at the four corners or four load‑bearing points of the fryer. The operator selects the lifting mode (hood‑only lifting or simultaneous lifting of hood and frying section) via the control buttons on the electrical panel or the PLC touch screen, and sets the lifting height and speed. The control system first verifies that the mechanical interlocks of the selected mode are normal (e.g., the frying oil level has been drained to a safe level, and the overhead space in the workshop is free of obstructions), then commands the motor to start.
The motor transmits power through a reduction mechanism to the coupling, which drives the four lifting screws to rotate synchronously. Each screw is fitted with a precision‑machined nut fixedly connected to the lifting frame. When the screw rotates forward, the nut moves upward along the screw axis, raising the lifting frame and the hood (or hood plus frying section frame) attached to it. Reverse rotation lowers the frame back into position. The system uses trapezoidal threads or ball screws, offering excellent self‑locking performance, so the equipment remains stable at the raised position for extended periods without additional locking devices.
Four‑position synchronous drive is achieved via the same motor through synchronizing shafts or synchronous belt pulleys, ensuring consistent displacement at all four lifting points, with a maximum displacement deviation within ±2mm. The entire lifting process is monitored in real time by the PLC, which tracks the rotation counts of each screw and position sensor signals, achieving one‑key automatic operation without manual intervention. The lifting stroke can be customized according to customer requirements, with a typical range of 200‑600mm.
Four‑position synchronous drive: Four sets of screws are driven synchronously by a single power source, ensuring that the hood or frying section remains level during lifting with no tilting or jamming.
Two flexible modes: For daily quick cleaning, only the hood can be raised. For major maintenance, the hood and frying section can be raised together, providing ample working space.
Precision self‑locking screw: Uses trapezoidal thread or ball screw. Excellent self‑locking performance ensures stable and reliable positioning without additional mechanical locking.
One‑key automatic lift control: PLC touch screen control allows setting of lift height and speed; one‑key automatic execution of lifting/lowering action eliminates manual screw cranking, with traceable operation records.
Multiple safety interlocks: Built‑in level sensors, anti‑crush sensors, upper/lower limit switches ensure the system can only operate when the frying oil level is drained and the space is clear, preventing misuse.
Seamless integration with frying equipment: The system is specifically designed for TCA fryers; mounting dimensions and load capacity are perfectly matched, requiring minimal on‑site modification for plug‑and‑play installation.
SUS304 food‑grade material: All components exposed to the workshop environment or potential oil vapor contact are made of 304 stainless steel or high‑temperature resistant sealing materials, offering corrosion resistance and easy cleaning.
Low noise, long service life: Optimised gearbox and screw transmission provide low operating noise. Key components are made of wear‑resistant materials, requiring infrequent maintenance, with an overall service life exceeding 10 years.

Application Scenarios
Frying lines in food processing plants: Used for daily cleaning, filter screen replacement, slag scraper maintenance and thorough internal cleaning of XDL/XDFL/XDF series fryers.
Large continuous frying lines: After long‑term continuous operation, the hood and frying section must be regularly raised for thorough cleaning to prevent carbonisation and oil polymer formation.
Central kitchens / catering businesses: Even medium and small frying equipment can be equipped with this system, allowing operators to quickly disassemble and clean, meeting strict food safety audit requirements.
Export‑oriented food companies: Adopting an automated lifting system is a significant advantage for complying with international food hygiene standards (e.g., BRC, IFS, FSSC22000), facilitating customer audits.
Retrofitting old equipment: For manually lifted fryers not equipped with electric lifting, the TCA screw lift system can be installed as an automation upgrade.
